The Parole Board TPM explanation says a TPM can depend on good conduct and required programming. Misconduct may postpone or cancel it. Eligible people may also earn Performance Incentive Credit through work, programs, and good conduct, but exclusions apply. A date can change due to sentence credit, corrected court orders, non-running time, detainers, discipline, parole review, or transfer.

Parole eligibility is not release. Georgia law generally permits eligibility after nine months or one-third of a sentence for many felony cases, unless another rule applies. Certain serious violent felony sentences are not parole eligible and may require 100 percent service. Official sources do not support using a generic statewide 85 percent rule.

The county uses “Correctional Institute” on its page, while GDC lists “Hall County Correctional Institution.” Both refer to the operation at 1698 Barber Road. The GDC location profile classifies it as medium security for adult male felons. GDC lists a capacity of 240, an opening year of 1963, and renovation in 1991. The county page says 152 state inmates are housed under contract.

Those figures come from different official descriptions and should not be forced into one occupancy claim. Capacity is the listed space, while the county's contract count describes a custody arrangement. Neither number proves that a named person is present or released.

Institution REACT Reentry Program

The county's Correctional Institute page describes REACT, a transitional reentry program. It targets Hall and Dawson residents who are returning to the Northeastern Judicial Circuit from state prison. The program provides intensive preparation before release on parole or probation.

REACT participation is useful local context, but it is not proof that every person at the institution will receive the same service or release date. Confirm the individual's state status in GDC and the Parole Board tools. A person can return to Hall County while remaining under supervision. Parole means release from prison before the sentence's full end under Board authority.
